Hey we had a great weekend in Dallas, TX. James, Me, and Andrea & Adam went to Dallas this weekend for the 35th & Last Chili Cookoff, a huge SWA party.
We left friday afternoon and drove down, took us three hours and it was nice to spend some quality time with the kids. We got there around 4:30 and checked into our hotel.

What a nice getaway, room service and free breakfast.
After we checked in we went to Dinner with some of my friends from work.

The menu choices are hard to say 'cause they're Frenchy (Etoufee, Meuniere Sauce, Chicken Tchoupitoulas) and some just sound weird (Gator Tail, Crawdaddys, Rat Toes).
We ate real down home Cajun food and had a blast!
Later James too the kids to Speed Zone for some fun and excitement.
The kid's raced 300-horsepower dragsters that go 0-70 in less than 3.5 seconds and pull 2.5 G-forces. WOW!
Then on Saturday we went to the Cookoff and played Bingo for prizes and then went to all the booths to try everyone's Chilli.
Afterwards we drove back to OKC and rested. All and All a good weekend.
